Results of the latest American Research Group poll show that U.S. Rep. Ron Paul has gained the most in South Carolina following his strong second place showing in New Hampshire. Rep. Paul has jumped to 20% and third place in the Palmetto State, leading among self-identified independents and Democrats with 29% and capturing 18% of Republicans. Rick Santorum has reportedly declined dramatically in the same period, from 24% to 9%.

News of Rep. Paul’s South Carolina surge mirrors his climb in national polls. The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, released prior to Tuesday’s New Hampshire Primary, shows Rep. Paul climbing 5 percentage points, to 17%. Paul is now tied with Newt Gingrich, who has declined 8% in that poll, for second place at the national level among Republicans and independents.

The Election will be rigged, You will be told that you are the only lunatic that supports Ron Paul. The bought and paid for Media will convince you of this. The US will be fully absorbed in the Globalist One World government ran by the UN. Your gun rights will be taken away. All the blood sacrificed by patriotic Americans over the centuries to support and defend the Constitution will have been wasted. Because you were blinded by the circus called television. You may as well apologize to your grandchildren right now, for losing the most free and just country the world has ever known. Unless by some miracle of God, people turn off the tv and study the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and realize what we are about to lose.

guys last time around media made obama the pres. pew research has been done and has shown that and others to prove that and even cnn might have a lot of proof for that.
start saying that the media does not want paul to win because they want a weak candidate to fight obama, weak being phonies liek romney, etc.
    start saying that everywhere!

  • Watching the past debates I am astounded how all the candidates (with the exception of Ron Paul). keep pushing for these unconstitutional wars. This is what dying empires do.

Did your congress person vote in favor of the NDAA? http://tinyurl.com/american-traitors
“With this legislation, America joins some of the modern world’s most brutal dictatorships – regimes like Nazi Germany, Mao’s China, and communist Russia. Places where people disappear into concentration camps or gulags, for any reason or, more usually, none at all. Nations in which citizens don’t count except for the taxes and labor they furnish the State. These contemporary serfs exist only to further their rulers’ whims; they dare not voice even the faintest opposition for fear of ruthless reprisal.”

Your congress person may be voting in favor of:
“The Enemy Expatriation Act (H.R.3166) is the stuff dictators use to suppress their citizenry. This bill will allow the U.S. Government to take away citizenship of anybody that is considered a hostile enemy or supporting hostility towards the U.S. Government, and is similar to the Nazi Factions Nuremberg laws where Adolf Hitler took away Germans citizenship based on race, blood types, political criteria and others who posed a threat to the Nazi regime.”

Some have stated that Ron Paul’s views are “…well out of the Republican mainstream….” and give it a derogatory bent. Actually, his views are well out of the Republican AND Democrat mainstream. And that is a very good and refreshing thing.

It is surprising that he even registers on the political polls considering the constant negative comments made by nearly all of political talking heads – including the so-called conservatives. No one in the political establishment on either side wants Dr. Paul to ascend to the presidency. They know for certain that if he was elected it would not be business as usual. They know that he alone among the candidates is the only one that will rigidly adhere to Constitutional government; that he will not be influenced by money, but by Constitutional principle.

He has been attacked mainly because of his stance on foreign policy. As I understand Ron Paul’s position, he deeply believes the United States should not go to war unless: 1) it is truly necessary and in the best interest of the United States & 2) it is entered into in a Constitutional manner. For this he is berated. I completely agree with Ron Paul.

    Just a few thoughts:

    • Do those who promote unnecessary wars really consider that people die in them? Do they not watch the evening news when the lists of young dead servicemen scroll across the television screen? So far, 6,331 American servicemen have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. Paul’s foreign policy has been attacked by his critics as “dangerous.” What a bunch of simple minded individuals his critics are. How can they criticize Dr. Paul’s position on not fighting unnecessary wars as “dangerous” as opposed to the thousands of American service men and foreign civilians killed during the Bush and Obama administrations? Those self-righteous people who condemn Ron Paul’s views on war do not seem to mind the killing and maiming of young United States soldiers. They do not really treasure human life, though they try very hard to persuade the electorate they do.
    • If you kill (bombing, etc.) a person’s family members, this person will intensely hate the country doing the killing for the rest of his/her life. Many innocent people are killed in needless wars. This breeds terrorists who may one day bring such terror to the United States. This is a no brainer. It is estimated that 132,000 civilians have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
    • China is not spending money fighting wars. China is spending money on infrastructure and making loans to the United States. Meanwhile, our government is squandering money fighting in three countries.
    • The senselessness of war stands out when we see veterans of past wars on both sides meeting and shaking hands (U.S./Japanese, etc.). The men are now friends, but the dead are still dead. It is governments that cannot get along – it is not the people.
    • Those who promote wars should be in the vanguard of the first attack. If the war is so important, they and their families should be intimately involved in the actual fighting.

Presently, the government does not adequately protect our borders; instead it chooses to make a police state out of our country. It does this in the name of keeping us safe from terrorism (because there maybe terrorists in our country). Instead of attacking our personal liberties, the United States government should protect our borders and keep terrorists out of the United States. If this was competently done it would not be necessary to restrict the liberties of United States citizens inside the United States.

Electing anyone but Ron Paul is just asking for more of what we have had for years – it is time to renew Constitutional Government & the American Spirit – it is time to elect Ron Paul.

Hey Jake, I see politics through my own religious prism just like Failsafe and Daniel do. And they are giving their opinion. That is all right. It is just objectionable for a politician to clobber his opponents with his personal beliefs like Santorum does. Ronbo doesn’t do that and shouldn’t. Romney, Santorum, and Newt can’t make the case that they love their enemies yet they consider themselves Christians. Its not only a religous difference I have with them, they are hypocrites, especially Santorum.

  • God bless Ron Paul! Everyone talks about how he is the only candidate promoting the constitution, real spending cuts, and truly free trade; these are all important. But, he is also the only candidate with a platform that would enable the Gospel to spread freely. The libertarian position most closely represents the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our Lord and savior never forced the law; He died for it. This is the example we must strive to emulate; compassion is contagious and it cannot be mandated.

    • Failsafe says:

There is no God. Spreading gospel is a bad thing because it’s all a lie. Don’t lie to your fellow Americans.

      • Jake says:

Please don’t mix religion with politics. It hurts RP’s image.

      • Joe McPlumber says:

Amen. I’m not sure what’s the hostility here since as a practical matter an awful lot of people base their political decisions solely on religious litmus tests. I’d be very pleased to see your argument advanced by fundamentalists and evangelicals. Because indeed, legislating religion is a form of force and true believers should not require it.

    • Beth says:

      Daniel,

I agree. I also know that the best scenario and political set up for sincere believers would be that of libertarians. You are correct, faith should never be forced! It amazes me how many faithful think that it should be in little ways or how much they justify encroachments upon freedom.

    • There is absolutely nothing wrong with your comment Daniel. Christians must live their religion in everything, especially politics.

    • JesusIsLord says:

Daniel is right. Ron Paul is Jesus flipping over the tables of the moneylenders.

    • ave says:

I am in complete agreement with you Daniel. There should be no compulsion or prohibition in spreading one’s religion. Like any other “intellectual” excercise, let everyone hear and reason out – then decide whether to believe or reject.

  • Gabe F says:

    Stay strong Dr. Paul!!!
