Revolution PAC panel and correspondents to break down contest and road ahead.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Northbrook, IL (PRWEB) January 20, 2012 - Revolution PAC, backer of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s bid for the Republican nomination, will host a live webcast on Saturday following the South Carolina Primary election. In conjunction with the event, the super committee is calling for a nationwide boycott of cable/network outlets, which have exhibited bias against Rep. Paul in their reporting.

“Pew Research just a few months ago confirmed the immense media bias against Dr. Paul,” explains Revolution PAC Chair Gary Franchi. “Despite his electoral success, he consistently receives the least national media coverage of all Republican candidates.”

Case in point, notes Franchi, was CNN’s post-Southern Republican Presidential Debate coverage Thursday, which provided coverage of neither Rep. Paul nor his debate remarks.

“Quite simply, Ron Paul’s supporters are losing their patience and are creating their own media opportunities,” says Franchi. “Revolution PAC is pleased to be able to offer this forum, and we anticipate a lively event on Saturday.”

Election analysis will be provided as the polls close tomorrow by Revolution PAC’s South Carolina correspondents and an in-studio grassroots liberty panel. The public is invited to participate in the webcast from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. CST Saturday, January 21 by visiting http://www.RevolutionPAC.com.

Rep. Paul received the coveted endorsement of South Carolina State Sen. Tom Davis Sunday, Davis calling Paul “a Tea Party of one against a towering wave of red ink.” At a Myrtle Beach press conference, Davis added, “There’s only one person speaking to what I believe is the core problem of our country today. The biggest threat to our liberty comes from debt.”

Joining Davis, three additional South Carolina state senators – Sen. Lee Bright (Spartanburg), Sen. Kevin Bryant (Spartanburg) and Sen. Danny Verdin (Greenville) – endorsed Rep. Paul Tuesday.

Reinforcing what is shaping up as a two-man race, Rep. Paul and Mitt Romney are the only Republican candidates who have successfully secured positions on the primary ballots of every state, reported South Carolina’s The State newspaper last week. A CNN/ORC International Poll released Monday also revealed that Paul and Romney are the only Republican contenders tied with Barack Obama in a likely general election matchup.

Revolution PAC is supporting U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s campaign for the Republican nomination and consistent, constitutional message with targeted TV advertising, direct mail campaigns and innovative Web promotions complemented by billboards and radio ads in key primary states. Unlimited donations by individuals, businesses and organizations are being accepted by Revolution PAC to support that effort.

    Never watch those presstitues anyway, but if you just HAVE to see/hear something- you can always do so on RonPaul2012podcast.com! Supporters post the stuff to youtube, and then I find it and forward it on the podcast subscribers. Besides- you’d have to watch way too much of that brainwashing to actually get some Ron Paul coverage!

    I don’t know why everyone si surprised with the bias. They did it in 2007-2008 they will do it again. Ron Paul is a threat to the establishmnent. THEY WILL NEVER LET HIM BE ELECTED. But I will NEVER vote for anyone else except Ron Paul.

    The GOP is struggling with it’s identity. The old guard, in a futile effort to maintain the status quo, has yet to realize the defection of many a long time republican (myself included) is due in part to their failings as conservatives themselves. Passing laws allowing for the exportation of jobs to other countries, supporting laws that strip our own citizens of their liberties, failing to follow the constitution in matters of coining money and declaring war, compromising on immigration enforcement and family values; these are not conservative principles, these are reasons why republican majorities were lost in congress. Despite the GOP having plenty of time to look in the mirror before hand, the party just couldn’t come to terms with the one thing staring back at them, a body void of courage to do the right thing.

    Both parties spend more time dumbing down our economic crisis to a democrat republican blame game. Both enable banks to enslave the electorate, involve us in conflicts around the world that seem to have no end, or no reasonable or advantageous purpose compared to so many available and non violent alternatives, and neither wants to do what is necessary to allow our nation to recover from the damage BOTH parties have done. No, maintaining the status quo insults the electorate and the party establishments are doing themselves a huge disservice following this course. Because of the internet and the rate by which we gain access to information, people don’t have to rely on a political parties’ centralized message if it doesn’t jive with their view of a certain politician, and whether or not they (said politician) are going to govern by constitutional principles first and party ideology second.

    It takes a person less than an hour to examine voting records on candidates to compare their past records to their current claims. In doing so for myself, I have found a candidate who supports the people of this country and who will govern by following constitutional principles. I have found a candidate who understands what ales this country and knows what needs to be done to fix it. We need to follow our constitution and get the banks out of Washington D.C. We need a sound monetary policy, where private banks aren’t allowed to print money as they see fit and loan it to foreign banks, essentially making us, the tax payer, carry the note on all this debt. We need a strong national defense and an understanding of the difference between military spending and defense spending, and it needs to be transparent so that politicians can no longer use talking points in order to deceive the American public. The people are tired of it!

    If politicians cannot offer substance, those who hunger for the real truth are more able than ever before to find it and make a choice they feel is best for them and best for their country. That is why I, as a veteran of Iraq and a long time but former supporter of George Bush, will choose Ron Paul. I am not beholden to political parties. I am beholden to our constitution and I believe that fighting for it is more valuable than taking the easy way out and voting for whom my party says is best for me. Given the history of the GOP over the past eight years it’s obvious they have lost their way. Give us Ron Paul or you’ll get Obama. :-) Have a great day!

    I will continue to watch Fox Business unless anybody can convince me otherwise. For all intents, it has become the Ron Paul Channel. Napolitano directly supports Paul, Stossel indirectly, Cavuto has Dr. Paul on for commentary all the time. You couldn’t ask for a fairer channel.

    Media Says Ron Paul is Unelectable, Straw Polls Say Otherwise

    Out of the 57 straw polls this year, Ron Paul has won 23 of them (40%), followed by Herman Cain, 17 (29%), Romney, 4 (7%) with Bachmann, Perry and Santorum tied for last amongst the current GOP contenders with 2 (3%).

    If being “unelectable” means standing up for our constitutional rights, then Dr. Paul has already received many more “unelectable” votes from the straw poll’s court of public opinion than most of his competition, combined.

      we need an 800 hotlinr for Paul supporters to record their vote, 8 of the precincts that were not reported, and of course I was tracking them, Paul was ahead in all of those precincts, 80 and 90 percent of the vote..we have to stop the fraud

        When they said 8 precincts were lost, my very firs thoughts were how many votes did Ron have after the recount. Losing those precincts’ results really makes Iowa look like a failed vote! The big thing to consider is, “Was it intentional?”

    They’re already starting to ignore him. The ABC Evening news just broadcast Romney and Gingrich results so far and talked about both in their segment. Not a word about Ron’s results or his performance so far in the election.

    I want to join ranks. I need some help and am forming, how about joining forces? I like the idea of NOT duplicating efforts.
    I need a new job and healthcare, and this will create jobs!!

    I’d like to do something in this lifetime worthwhile rather than being used by these very corporations. i want to take on the status quo and will. I am volunteering time but would like to take this to a whole new level. Any help would be appreciated. I have good ideas too.

    Isn’t this counter productive? Shouldn’t we continue to watch mainstream media and demand they respond to Ron Paul’s success? Isolating ourselves isn’t going to get the attention of others.

      I believe to a certain extent, we should try to continue to push these ideas to the mainstream media, but we have to be careful to not over do it to the point that it we let it hurt our positions and come across as whinny or paranoid sounding.

        Rick Santorum was a whiny brat and yet they still promote him.

        Anyone remember the first two debates where he’s “whaaaa I don’t get any airtime.” Then, he interrupts Romney only to turn around and say, “you’re out of time!” Then later, Ron Paul has to shut him down for interrupting him. He’s like an annoying little chihuahua!

    Thank you very much revpac… I WILL DEFINATELY BE tuning into the webcast… i cant watch the msm at all!! the only time i tune into their channels is during the debates themselves and as soon as the debates are over i shut off the tv.. it will be nice to hear fari coverage during south carolinas primaries!! so again i thank you for finally giving us paul supporters something to listen too!!!
